In the final episode of Sweetwater’s fifth season, the boys Miles Burghoff and Joey Nania summarize what their respective days were like when fishing with FLW tour pros Bryan Thrift and Brian Latimer. “The number one thing, I think, that both Brian’s have and both of us have is a passion for fishing,” says Miles. Miles joins Bryan Thrift on Lake Norman in Charlotte, North Carolina while Joey joins Brian Latimer on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina, both use the gorgeous fishing boat powered by none other than a motorguide trolling motor to catch some fish on their respective lakes. This episode added a lot of extra footage from the earlier episodes in the season featuring Bryan Thrift and Brian Latimer, and made for a very interesting finale.

As said earlier this season; Bryan Thrift is a 12 year veteran on the FLW tour, including 6 major wins and 2 of those major wins were won here on Lake Norman in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was also the angler of the year his rookie season on the FLW tour. Generating over 3 million in career earnings over 171 professional events, Bryan Thrift has proven to be a legendary fisherman and provides incredible, intangible knowledge of the sport. What is cool about this episode is that Bryan and Miles fish the same way, meaning they are both very intense, competitive and fast fishermen. We can see the similarities in both episodes however this most recent shows a lot of behind the scenes looks at these two fishermen.

Brian Latimer is a very successful FLW tour fisherman, and not only does he bring great knowledge to the water he also brings his fun loving attitude which makes the day on Lake Hartwell with Joey Nania an absolute treat to watch. You can tell these two are having so much fun on the water, and even have an audience of a few passing semi-trucks and their horns in the background.
