First Episode Drops Saturday, December 4, 2021
Humbly, Michael Waddell shies away from being referred to as a celebrity or legend, however he is thought of as an icon in the hunting industry. Taught to hunt by his father, Michael continues the family legacy, passing tradition down to his own five children. Now a new exclusive series from Waddell, Downton Dixie is coming to Waypoint TV. Taking bit of a departure from the more traditional hunting and fishing programming that both Waddell and Waypoint TV are typically associated with, Downton Dixie will offer a fly-on-the-wall perspective into Michael’s personal life. From raising chickens to harvesting pecans, the show highlights the antics that spur from life on his family’s Georgia pecan farm that shares the same name as the show.
“We’re committed to promoting the outdoor lifestyle with Waypoint TV and will continue to expand our variety of programming. Michael Waddell is one of the most prominent figures in the outdoor community and needs no introduction. We are thrilled to debut his new Downton Dixie series on Waypoint TV! This should be a lot of fun,” says CEO, Builder Brock.
Waypoint TV’s programming lineup has diversified and grown significantly over the past year, with Downton Dixie serving as a prime example. Season 1 will consist of seven episodes, with the first airing Saturday, December 4, at 9am EST. New episodes will drop at the same time, every other week. Tune in to watch on the Waypoint TV Channel, Samsung TV Plus (Channel 1184), VIZIO (Channel 258), and XUMO (Channel 718). You can also navigate to the Live TV section in the Waypoint TV app, available on OTT, Mobile, or waypointtv.com.
Downtown Dixie episodes will be available on-demand for streaming the following Sundays on the Waypoint TV app
