Waypoint TV Launches New Scott Linden’s Upland Nation Courses to the Waypoint TV App and Website
Austin, Texas – November 2nd, 2022 – The world’s leading entertainment destination for hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure programming, Waypoint TV is launching 7 new episodes of FREE Scott Linden’s Upland Nation courses from to the Waypoint TV app and website and is available now.
Author, TV host, and podcaster, Scott Linden, has accumulated 30 years of experience in the uplands chasing wild birds in wild places. He's hunted with over 300 dogs on television, and five of his own German Wirehaired Pointers. He has also gunned, marshaled, and participated in dozens of field trials and hunt tests. Now, his "lessons learned the hard way" are on video, saving other bird hunters time and aggravation, making them better hunters, shooters, and dog owners.
The Upland Nation is passionate, inclusive, and dedicated to habitat, birds, and dogs. Founder Scott Linden’s job is to help you become a better bird hunter, shooter, and dog owner through his course offerings. Visit the Upland Nation for inspiration and information, tips and suggestions, advice, thought-provoking ideas and a laugh every once in a while. Beginners and experts will find new places to hunt, ways to improve their skills, knowledge to help ensure the future of our sport, and ways to help their dogs achieve peak performance.
Watch–learn–teach–enjoy. Great dog performance, excellent shooting, and finding more places to hunt (easier said than done), that’s where Scott Linden’s Upland Nation comes in: useful, informative tips and advice from the nation’s most-watched upland hunting TV host and writer. In decades of hunting for fun and on his Wingshooting USA television series, Scott’s learned most lessons the hard way, so you don’t have to. His suggestions and observations will make you a better dog trainer and keep your dog healthy; you’ll become a better wing shooter (do as he says, not as he misses); and you’ll learn how to find more free, public-access hunting grounds based on his first-hand visits to little-known and legendary bird-hunting locations.
“It took me 30 years and 7,000 miles climbing the hills and roaming the prairies, hunting wild birds. It only takes viewers a couple minutes to learn the same thing ... minus the blisters and rattlesnakes” said Scott Linden, creator of Upland Nation.
“We couldn't be more excited to add Upland Nation to our course offerings. Scott has the perfect blend of an experienced educator and a seasoned upland bird hunter that really shines through on this course. Not only does he teach you to be a more effective upland hunter, but he prioritizes the health and safety of his dogs above all else and teaches you to do the same. This course is a must-watch for the beginner upland hunter, but experts alike can pick up tips and tricks that Scott has learned over the years” said Waypoint TV’s Strategic Growth Coordinator, Turner Rowland.
