Waypoint TV To Launch New Season of The Journey Within – A Bird Hunter’s Diary, Every Week
Austin, Texas – October 19th, 2022 – The world’s leading entertainment destination for hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure programming, Waypoint TV is releasing the newest and most exciting season yet, from The Journey Within crew. This season will have 20 episodes that are set to launch each Wednesday from October 19th through March 8th at 11:30 PM EST. This incredibly captivating journey started in 2019 when Mark Peterson decided that he would take his childhood passion of Upland hunting in Michigan with his dad to the ultimate level. Mark decided to take the journey to complete The North American Upland Slam. This is The Journey Within- A Bird Hunters Diary. The North American Upland Slam takes Mark across three countries in the quest to harvest 27 different upland species. This 20 episode season is a full recap of all the ups and downs that Mark endured on his quest, as well as his insight into why he decided to take on this challenge.
In episode one, airing on Wednesday October 19th, 2022 at 11:30 PM ET, Mark heads into the Ruby Mountains of Nevada in search of the extremely elusive Himalayan Snowcock. The Himalayan Snowcock live at elevations reaching up to 11,000 feet making Mark’s first journey more of a sheep hunt than a bird hunt. Tune in each Wednesday as his journey continues to take him from the Ruby Mountains of Nevada to high elevations in Alaska, to beautiful Wyoming, through Southern Oregon and into Northern California, and many more stops along the way. The suspense of each hunt and the breathtaking scenery will leave you yearning for the next episode.
